Abstract

The possibility of synthesizing Fe-Cr-Co powder magnetic materials with low and medium cobalt content (8 to 16%) at a low sintering temperature of 1100 °C is shown. The relative density of the sintered specimens after sintering is about 94%. When the cobalt content in the material is 8%, the alloy is single-phase (α-phase). With an increase in the cobalt content to 16%, faint traces of the γ-phase (about 1%) appear. The magnetic hysteresis characteristics of the synthesized specimens are measured, and they have values that are acceptable for practical use according to GOST 24897-81. The functional properties of the obtained materials at a low sintering temperature of 1100 °C are compared with the properties of materials sintered at temperatures of up to 1400 °C.
