Abstract
- The article focuses on Second Industrial Revolution in the U.S. drove massive amounts of technological innovation. Topics include Standard Oil of New Jersey has patented the first synthetic commercial isopropyl alcohol, a beneficial byproduct of petroleum, and the technological roadblocks that existed in 1930 or 1950 can be solved with today's technology and become a great new invention.
