Abstract: The paper studies the troubles occurring because of poor-quality gas separation at the facilities of its field processing. Modernization of gas separators has been proposed to improve the efficiency of removal of undesirable impurities from gas. It has been shown that the replacement of separation devices will provide an increase in the degree of dropping liquid removal by more than two times, while increasing the productivity of the facility and reducing repair costs.
