Abstract
- The article examines the association between cannabis use and undetectable plasma human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) RNA levels from male patients coinfected with HIV and hepatitis C virus receiving antiretroviral therapy (ART) based on a study by Chaillon et al. The study identified the effect of cannabis use on the HIV reservoir during ART among male patients. Analysis of sociobehavioral and clinical data revealed no link between the frequency of cannabis use and plasma HIV viral load.
