Abstract

A 70-year-old-male patient underwent cryoballoon pulmonary vein (PV) isolation to treat drug-resistant paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF). As ablation continued, electrical isolation of the LLPV was achieved as evidenced by non-conducted sinus beat inside the LLPV and subsequent atrium-PV dissociation and exit block was confirmed with pacing from inside the LLPV.
