Abstract

Presents a letter to Irish Prime Minister Eamon DeValera from an Irish catholic living in the U.S. that centers on the efforts of England in its war against Nazi Germany and the desired role of Ireland as a companion of England. Appreciation of England for her efforts against Germany for the cause of defeated countries; Essence of Irish freedom to persevere after years of struggle against England; Consequences in terms of extinction of Christianity and destruction of Europe following probable German victory in the Second World War.
