Abstract

Indeed, the "Letter to the Editor" by Khusid and colleagues[1] has highlighted the difference in stone type between Metabolic Syndrome (MetS) and non-MetS patients - uric acid, cystine, and struvite stones being more common among MetS patients and calcium phosphate stones being more common among non-MetS patients.
