Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of PAD class teaching mode in the teaching of Nursing Psychology. Methods TtTTwo classes of nursing undergraduates in academic year 2018 were divided into observation group (n =112) and control group (n = 107). The PAD CISSS teaching mode for the teaching of Nursing Psychology was adopted in the observation group, while the traditional teaching mode was adopted in the control group. The independent learning ability of the two groups was evaluated before and after the intervention, and the test scores of the two groups were compared at the end of the term. The students opinion on the PAD class teaching mode was investigated. Results After the intervention, the score of independent learning ability scale in the observation group (98.21 ±11.71) was higher than that of the control group (92.10 ± 13.77), with a significant difference (t = 2.382, P < 0. 05). The final score of the observation group (81.43 ±8.80) was higher than that of the control group (78.50 ±8.36), with a significant difference (5 = 2.527, D < 0.05). Students in the observation group held a positive attitude towards the PAD class teaching mode. Conclusion Compared with the traditional teaching mode, the PAD class teaching mode can optimize the classroom teaching effect and improve the independent learning ability and academic performance of students.
