Foreword to the JEASA Special Issue--Alter/Native Spaces.

An introduction is presented in which the guest editors discuss the theme of the issue, how the prefix "alter" is linked to notion of an alternative and to notion of multiplicity, and to explore how Indigenous and non-Indigenous knowledge interact between the settler nation and Indigenous peoples.
