CROCODYLUS MORELETII (Morelet’s Crocodile).

The article presents a study on the mortality of an adult Crocodylus (C.) moreletii (Morelet's crocodile) as the result of a probable vessel strike in Belize. Topics include the injuries of the crocodile which were consistent with vessel strikes observed in West Indian Manatees, analysis of the pattern of injuries observed by the authors, and factor which has likely increased the vulnerability of C. moreletti and other aquatic vertebrates to vessel-related injuries and mortalities in Belize.
