Abstract
- The short operation lifetime of organic light‐emitting devices originates from irreversible degradation of organic materials, but the mechanism by which degradation initiates has been insufficiently understood. We discovered that degradation is triggered by electron‐transfer interactions between a dopant and a host exciton. A numerical model predicting operational stability has been developed.
