Comments on the drawbacks of the McCarran-Walter Act related to immigration to the U.S. Discrimination against certain nationalities and races in the way they are selected, nature of rights accorded to them and protection given to their rights as citizens after they are naturalized; Method used under the immigration law to select applicants for admission; Overview of the National Origin Quota System which is a major limitation of the Act; Criticism of the Act for denaturalizing foreign-born citizen for certain acts committed during their probation period; Suggestion for making individual aptitude and desirability the criteria for selecting immigrants so that they can play a useful role in the U.S.
