Abstract

The article informs about the approach to diagnosing acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Topics discussed include mild troponin elevation that does not increase over a short period of time has an excellent negative predictive value; cite a review of high-sensitivity troponin that outlines the safety of such a strategy in patients with gray zone minimal elevations of high sensitivity troponin over the level of detection; and the majority were admitted to the hospital.
