Abstract
- This article presents information on the foreign relations of Jordan with Israel. The Kingdom of Jordan is expected in its elections of October 21 to bring into power a government of Palestinian refugees, Jew-haters among Arabs, who will rule over a 350-mile common border with Israel. The election seems certain to produce an extremist government, hostile to the West and favoring radical action against Israel. The Israelis consider the refugees the lesser of these two evils. And Prime Minister Ben Gurion therefore declared that Israel would regard the oiovement of Iraqi troops into neighboring Jordan, a threat to her security.
