Study on preparation and properties of one-component acrylic waterproof coating.

The preparation of one-component waterproof coating by acrylic emulsion was studied in this paper. The effects of emulsion type, emulsion addition amount, formula production process, on properties of the waterproof coating were discussed, the optimum formula composition and production technology were determined. The results showed that the breaking elongation of the coating was 340% and the bond strength was 1.5 MPa, when 50% emulsion, 41% bicalcium, 0.4% B199, 0.3% CF439 were added and the product met the requirements of I type product as specified in standard JC/T 864-2005.
