Abstract
- The article discusses how Covid -19 began its rampage around the world and affected the book publishing industry as retail store were closed and large events such as comic and anime conventions have been canceled, and unemployment and economic uncertainty have made many reconsider how to spend their money. It reports that in beginning of 2020, the future looked bright for manga and light novel publishing in North America.
