Abstract
- The article discusses developments in collecting coins from Haiti. Also cited are the first coins issued by Haiti in 1802 under Governor Toussaint L'Ouverture, a brief history of Haiti like the declaration of sovereignty by Jean-Jacques Dessalines in 1804, his assassination in 1806, the governments of Henri Christophe and Alexandre Petion, and the rule of Jean Pierre Boyer.
