Abstract
- The article examines the presence of confidence intervals in the economic estimates observed from empirical studies published in three economic journals including "The American Economic Review" in 2019. Topics discussed include standard error for papers that report confidence intervals, comparison to those that do not mention intervals or standard errors at all, and classic examples from microeconomics and macroeconomics.
