Abstract
- The article presents abstracts of various articles on dermatology. In one of the article "The Effect of Washing on the Thickness of the Stratum Corneum in Norman and Atopic Individuals," it was examined that the thickness of the stratum corneum and epidermis in healthy individuals and the normal appearing skin of patients with chronic atopic dermatitis. The authors speculate that because the probable impairment of barrier function of the skin could lead to worsening of atopic dermatitis washing of atopic skin should be kept to a minimum. In another article it was discussed that Tuberousclerosis is inherited as an autosomal dominant trait. The earliest sign of this neurocutaneous syndrome in children is circumscribed, hypopigemented lesions known as ash-leaf macules.
