Abstract

The metal complexes of Schiff bases derived from heterocyclic compounds have been the centre of attraction for many researchers in recent years. The solvent evaporation method was employed to obtain the different Ternary Metal complexes of Cr(III) in the crystal format. In present investigation optical characterization such as IR absorption spectroscopy and UV - VIS absorption spectroscopy were carry out. The fingerprint region of all the crystals discussed in the concern chapter with the reference scientific data. The UV-VIS absorption spectra were obtained to identify band gap of all samples. Tauc methods were carried out to calculate the band gap using UV-VIS spectra. The obtained results was compared with the reference data available in the digital library and found similar. The thermal behavior (TGA) of the complexes was studied and kinetic parameters were determined by Broido method. Transition Metal complexes of Cr(III), with different Schiff base have been synthesized . They were characterized by Thermo gravimetric analysis studies. Kinetic Parameters, such as energy of activation (Ea), enthalpy (ΔH#), entropy (ΔS#) and Gibbs energy (ΔG#), were computed from the TGA data using Broido method. The authors carried out the measurement and calculation with all the scientific evidence. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
