The article reviews the current landscape of the law as it pertains to employees privacy interests in social media in the U.S. Topics include employers right to impede on those interests by examining federal legislation; privacy analysis to third-party social media posts of employees; and analysis for when an employer can rightfully take adverse employment action for such third-party posting.
