Abstract
- This article presents information on socio-politics. The list of prospective charges against U.S. President Bill Clinton heard by the House Judiciary Committee demonstrates just how low are the crimes and misdemeanors for which the Congress seems determined to seek impeachment. John Kenneth Galbraith turns 90 on October 15 and, despite a still-hectic lecture and travel schedule, is busily putting the finishing touches on his forty-third book. It is a collection of sketches of the public figures he's worked with or known personally over the past six decades, from U.S. Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson to Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Eleanor Roosevelt.
