Locating and Treating the Mentally Retarded.

In an effort to stimulate referrals of children under the age of 3 showing mild developmental retardation, this clinic reached out to patients of a hospital pediatric clinic. A survey revealed that over 9 percent of the children seen by the loner were functioning at a mentally retarded level, showing this to be a high-risk population.
