A Strategy for Antipoverty Community Action Programs.

A strategy is proposed for the antipoverty community action programs, namely, a third party stance aimed at increasing the demand for services by the poor and also assisting "suppliers" of these services, the established and new agencies, so they can provide relevant services more readily and humanely. Specific methods for improving demand and supply are suggested briefly, and some of the difficulties in this third party orientation are cited. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
