Abstract
- The article explores how the 1923 church of Notre-Dame du Raincy in France, designed by Auguste and Gustave Perret, resonated with other French buildings erected during or soon after World War I. Topics discussed include war-related symbols at Notre-Dame du Raincy, the church's commemoration of World War I in concrete and wood, and wartime kit-of-parts churches and houses.
