Reflective writing for the first time can be thought-provoking and challenging. Nevertheless, there is always an element of satisfaction and fulfillment in every learning process as it enables us to improve our future goals and objectives on the personal, social and professional aspects. In this paper, the author draws upon their personal learning experiences as a postgraduate international student enrolled on a Clinical Dermatology Master's Course in the UK, and discusses how these experiences assisted in planning their post-graduation career objectives.
