The article presents information related to several publications. Robert Clarke & Co. send their valuable catalogue of Americana, which embraces nearly 4,500 titles. Classification has been attempted in the case of books relating to the rebellion and slavery, of Confederate publications of geological reports of States, and other scientific publications. The essays on "Systems of Land Tenure in Various Countries," edited by J.W. Probyn, and published under the direction of the Cobden Club have just been reissued in a cheaper form. The exhaustion of the two earlier editions shows a strong interest in the subject, and it is a matter of congratulation that these valuable papers are now made more accessible.
