Abstract
- Gasoline futures gained in New York after the nation's third-largest refinery shut a crude unit amid damage from a severe storm and power outage. June-delivery gasoline rose 1.07 cents to settle at $3.0059 a gallon on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Marathon exported about 223,000 barrels a day of petroleum products in the first quarter, 50,000 of them gasoline and the rest diesel, according to an earnings call on May 1.
