he operation room is a unit in a hospital specially equipped for surgical operations. The scientific, high-efficiency and successful management system plays a significant role in improving development and promoting competitiveness of the hospital. This paper reviewed the current situation of lean management research at home and abroad from the perspectives of both theoretical and practical application through literature research. It demonstrated the current situation, expectation and suggestions of lean management at home and abroad from the improvement of operating room efficiency, quality management and nursing quality.
