Abstract

The article describes the likely and differential diagnosis of a 14-month-old girl with a rare cause of hypertension. Highlights include the differential diagnosis of low renin hypertension (LRH) with low aldosterone concentrations, the prevalence of secondary hypertension in pre-adolescent children, and the link of LRH with a monogenic etiology in children.
