Abstract

In order to meet the demand of high-level talents in oil and gas storage and operation industry for offshore oil and gas development, the paper designed and constructed a six-degree-of-freedom motion test platform to simulate the hull motion of FLNG (LNG Floating Production Storage and of Floating Unit ). During the teaching process, students have guided to carry out innovation experiments and the changes of performance and process parameters of offshore oil and gas installations, and different sloshing conditions have been compared. The results show that the platform sloshing experiment deepens the students' understanding of offshore oil and gas storage and transportation knowledge, improves the ability of scientific: research innovation and solving practical problems, realizes the effective integration and virtuous circle of laboratory resources, and achieves well scientific: research and teaching results.
