This article presents information related to the field of publication. George A. Leavitt & Co. will sell at auction in May the library of Alexander Farnum, of Providence, one of the notable private collections of that city. Prof. George H. Cook's annual report shows that the topographical survey of New Jersey has now been completed for nearly two-fifths of the total area of the state in the most difficult portion, so that more than one-half the labor has been done. Two more of the seventeen sheets of the map are about ready for distribution.
