Abstract

The article offers information on the translational research that is essential to develop strategies for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) using animal models that reproduce the severity. It mentions that expiratory chest Computed tomography (CT) lung images must be interpreted with caution; and also mentions the absence of hypoxia, can produce an emphysema-like lung phenotype.
