Abstract

The numerical solution to the optimal nonlinear control problem is considered. The software for the Dragonfly optimization algorithm is realized. The result is benchmarked on the set of the well known functions and the recommendations for the parameters, which provide the efficient work, are proposed. The software for solving the optimal open loop control problem for nonlinear dynamic systems linear in bounded control is realized. From the maximum principle it follows that for the considered type of nonlinear systems, the optimal control belongs to the class of piecewise constant functions that depend on time. The proposed technique consists in the parameterization of the desired optimal control law and the transition to the corresponding nonlinear programming optimization procedure. The two optimal control problems with several local and one global extremum were solved. The analysis of numerical results confirmed the fact of global extrema finding due to the use of the dragonfly metaheuristic algorithm for the parametric optimization problem suggested.
