- Keywords: coordination chemistry; DFT calculations; di-pi-methane rearrangement; phosphabarrelene; phosphorus ligands This P,N-hybrid ligand readily forms coordination compounds with Rh SP I sp , W SP 0 sp , and Fe SP 0 sp and undergoes a rather selective photochemical di- -methane rearrangement in the coordination sphere of the metal center to afford a novel 5-phosphasemibullvalene derivative.
