Dielectric and piezoelectric properties of (Na0.52K0.443Li0.037)(Nb0.883Sb0.08Ta0.037)O3 ceramics substituted with (Bi0.5Na0.5)0.9(Sr)0.1ZrO3

Abstract

In this paper, in order to develop the composition ceramics for piezoelectric actuator, (1-x)(Na<subscript>0.52</subscript>K<subscript>0.443</subscript>Li<subscript>0.037</subscript>)(Nb<subscript>0.883</subscript>Sb<subscript>0.08</subscript>Ta<subscript>0.037</subscript>)O<subscript>3</subscript> - x(Bi<subscript>0.5</subscript>Na<subscript>0.5</subscript>)<subscript>0.9</subscript>(Sr)<subscript>0.1</subscript>ZrO<subscript>3</subscript> ceramics were synthesized by the conventional solid state method and their piezoelectric and dielectric properties were systematically investigated. All specimens showed a typical pure perovskite structure and no secondary phase was found according to the (Bi<subscript>0.5</subscript>Na<subscript>0.5</subscript>)<subscript>0.9</subscript>(Sr)<subscript>0.1</subscript>ZrO<subscript>3</subscript> substitution. When x = 0.03, the excellent physical properties of d<subscript>33</subscript> = 256pC/N ε<subscript>r</subscript> = 1753, k<subscript>p</subscript> = 0.411, Qm = 58 and high Tc of 285 °C were obtained for piezoelectric actuator.
