Abstract

In this paper, we want to analyze the performance of a Histogram Equalization technique with various proposed Histogram Equalization techniques and want to show that the technique that is proposed in this paper is comparatively better in terms of various parameters and the name of the technique is Local Window Histogram Equalization using Gaussian Filter (LWHE-G) in image enhancement which is based on Local Histogram Equalization and a Gaussian filter that removes noise and improves the quality of the image. Our main aim is to reduce the amount of computational resources required by previous traditional methods and to enhance the image using local information and to show that image is enhanced with greater detail and lower noise compared to the several existing methods that were previously used.
