Abstract

The article offers information on the teachers using graphic novels as classroom texts. It mentions that the role of teachers to facilitate re-visioned literacy practices in young people is sufficiently pivotal; and also mentions a handful of studies focused on classroom pedagogy with graphic novels suggests that teachers' hesitancy to employ them.
