Abstract

The authors discuss a report on the potential for collision between the femoral tunnels for Lemaire procedures and femoral anterior cruciate ligament tunnels drilled through an anteromedial portal. Topics mentioned include the use of a MacIntosh femoral tunnel position instead of Lemaire, location of a lateral extra-articular tenodesis femoral tunnel based on anatomic and biomechanical considerations, and studies that aid in the selection of the optimum femoral tunnel location.
