This article highlights the conference conducted by the North East Modern Language Association at the Southeast Massachusetts University on March 20-23, 2004. The Milton section was one of the highlights. One member of the larger than average audience complimented Jim Freeman, chairperson of the 2004 meeting, for the choice of papers, saying that the Milton section had made the whole conference worthwhile.
