Abstract

The article is about affects that medical innovation world market has on the development of the other market segments. Two types of national health markets are discussed. The predictive evaluation of the health market is shown, that depends on both population and state income, according to the world regions. The predictive evaluations of the world health market, made on the basis of the data provided by the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), may be assessed as very careful approaches. Article highlights the affects of political factors on the development of the world health market on the examples of the biggest political parties of the world. The analysis of the positions of the biggest political parties of the world regarding the healthcare shows that the political parties of five highly developed countries support the idea making the healthcare totally affordable and qualitative, but the ways how to achieve these goals are different. According to their viewpoint, private medicine is considered as the additional form of a state healthcare that will partly take off the burden from the state and allow citizens to select among of the two. Given international practice, Georgia considers and develops the mechanisms that will increase the contribution of high income people in coverage of the costs associated with healthcare. One of the major priorities is to ensure the storage and further development of qualitative and totally affordable healthcare system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
