- The article comment on the role of the pediatric clinician regarding the stranded on antipsychotics. Topics discussed include antipsychotic, a class of medications that antagonize dopaminergic D2 and other receptors in the brain; the risks associated with long-term use of antipsychotics; and the appropriate duration of treatment with antipsychotics.
