Abstract
- This study discusses the acceptance of mobile payment in Indonesia using the case study of mobile payment YAP. The model used in the research is TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) and the analysis process uses SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square). This research is a quantitative research by using analysis of primary data in the form of questionnaires distributed to all of YAP users. The results of the study show that a person's main factor in using the YAP mobile payment services is influenced by one's experience in using mobile payment services (at least toward using) and social influence from other person (perceived social influence). The expected experience is supported by the perception of benefits from the mobile payment services. This perception of benefits is influenced by the level of ease and degree of conformity of a person's habits in making payment transactions. This can be used by mobile payment service providers to create services with applications that are easy to use, convenient, and have the power of interest for users such as giving a gimmick to certain payment transactions.
