Abstract
- Annular geometry with porous medium is considered to analyze conjugate heat transfer. The solid is placed at the inner radius of the annulus. The upper half of the inner radius is heated with constant temperature T<subscript>h</subscript> and outer radius is cooled to temperature T<subscript>o</subscript>. Triangular elements are main element type that divides the physical domain into smaller segments for finite element solution. Different geometrical as well as the physical parameters are analyzed. The heat transfer is lower in the case of upper section being heated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
