Abstract
- This study examined the relationship between altruism, burnout and helping behaviors. Results for 178 employees found altruism related to helping behaviors (i.e., OCB, volunteerism, and helping kin and neighbors), burnout was only associated with OCB. Further, the relationship between altruism versus volunteerism and helping kin was moderated by burnout. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
