Understanding and Characterizing a 1.6L Spark Ignition (SI) Engine of Proton GEN 2.

This paper briefly presents the engine characteristics of 1.6L SI engine of Proton Gen 2. The engine was coupled to a chassis dynamometer, gasoline fueled and few related apparatus were employed in determine the engine behavior that focused on the engine performance and emissions. All data collected were illustrated in graph for further analysis. Mapping for each throttle position with respect to the engine speed was developed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
