Abstract

The article highlights the survey and guidelines of Sacrococcygeal teratomas (SCT) that described by Virchow in 1869 called monstrous tumor. It mentions the association of Sacrococcygeal teratomas with an excellent prognosis after surgical excision and also introducing the first guidelines for SCT to be established in Japan as well as in the world.
