Abstract

An experiment was conducted to investigate the best conditions for xylanase enzyme production from the local isolation Bacillus subtilis strain RS1 using xylene extracted from the papyrus. The results showed that the highest effectiveness of xylanase was obtained by using 0.5% xylene at 2800 ml/ml. Yeast extract and peptone were the best nitrogen sources where the enzymatic activity reached 2800 units /mL and the best temperature for xylanase production was 37°C and pH of 6 with cycles number of 150/min and vaccine size 107 cells/ml where the enzyme effectiveness reached 2807, 2806, 2808 and 2800 units/ml, respectively.
