Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 2-year old boy with Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM), whose initial symptom was gait disturbance. It notes the Low bone marrow signal on T1-weighted magnetic resonance imaging in a 2-year-old patient with acute disseminated encephalomyelitis and how most bone marrow is red at birth, but conversion from red marrow to yellow marrow starts immediately after birth.
