Abstract

The article presents information about the improvement in Anglo-German relations, results of the Balkan wars and the attitude of Russia. The main factor in bringing about improved conditions between Great Britain and Germany was undoubtedly the Balkan War. The Anglo-German rivalry presented mankind with the spectacle of two perfect egotism's. Young Germany was fully convinced that the world had been Anglo-Saxonized long enough and that it was time to give modern methods a trial which could not be if the globe was still to be regarded as a prolongation of the London suburbs.
